![]() ![]() The tempos SMPTE position however should not change unless you change it although its bar/beats position obviously can if you insert meter changes. The general rule is 1 cue per project although I have done 2 when there was a short time between them and the palette/mix was similar. ![]() If someone knows the solution to this, I know many people (including me) who would jump for joy if we knew how to efficiently deal with tempo adjustment for cues!įirst of all, If I am understanding you correctly, are you trying to do a whole film in one Logic project? If so, this is not a good idea as Logic does not have a DP-like "chunks" feature. I would imagine that Logic would need to create variable tempo adjustments in between cues so it can place the tempo and bar position correctly, but that's fine since I don't have music running along the entire film. So here's the question: is there any way to lock tempos and positions (or at least beat one of a measure) to SMPTE? I figured out how to lock regions to SMPTE so at least the regions are staying with the picture, but the tempos always get messed up when I put in additional cues. I've been using Logic Pro 8 to score for video and I have been having trouble with tempo adjustments for different cues in the film. ![]()
